I really enjoyed welcoming Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport Lucy Powell to the South Bank for a roundtable with the Chief Executives of the major cultural institutions based there.

These venues are national leaders and they make a huge contribution to our society and economy. A Labour Government would make sure this is properly recognised and that the sector is supported to continue thriving.
